The annual PMRF Symposium is being organized at IIT Madras, on Feb 17 and 18, 2023.

The PMRF Symposium provides a platform for:

PMRFs to interact, network and share knowledge
Showcasing exemplary work
Faculty/industry interactions including potential recruitment
Exposing Industry and PSUs to research carried out by the PMRFs
Exposing the PMRFs to IP/Patenting/Entrepreneurship/Teaching

PMRFs whose performances were commended by the review panel are invited to make in-person presentations in the annual symposium. Other scholars and participants from academia/industry are invited to register and participate in the symposium.

Tentative Program

‍Plenary talks on research and teaching
Invited talks in each broad area
Oral presentation by PMRFs in each broad area
Poster presentations/demonstration sessions with industry participation
Workshops on IP/patents, entrepreneurship and teaching-learning

Registration

‍Registration portal will open on (https://portal.pmrf.in/symposium-registration) by 24 Jan 2023, after 5pm.
‍
All PMRFs who have received a commendable performance comment during the May/Dec 2022 reviews are requested to register, participate in-person and present their work.
‍
Other PMRFs are also welcome to register, their in-person participation is subject to availability of seats.
‍
We also welcome participants from industry to register.
‍
The registration fee : Rs 5000 (refundable for all PMRFs who make the presentation, and for those participating online).

Limited hostel accommodation on a first-come-first-serve basis is available.

Last Date for Registration : 29th January 2023.
